Ashford and Canterbury Visit
Feb. 2nd, 2012 04:14 pmYesterday I took a round trip to Ashford and Canterbury, specifically charity shopping visits, a meal out and a visit to Next.
In Canterbury I purchased a green V neck jumper.
In Ashford I picked up some books, and a couple of CD's from British heart Foundation and Cancer Research. The books are -
“The Star Trek Encyclopedia” (Pocket Books)
Albert Camus “The Plague” (Penguin)
Margaret Atwood “The Edible Woman” (Virago)
Charles Bukowski “Factotum” (Virgin Books)
and some for reselling or recycling into the system.
The two CD's are -
The Cranberries “Everybody Else is Doing It,So Why Don't We?” (Island)
Le Tigre “This Island” (Universal)
The latter CD had a price sticker I recognised, Resident Records in the North Laines, Brighton ,and found for £1.50 in a chazzer in Ashford!

Talking of eating I noticed that my cousin hasn't eaten properly since Monday. The reason is that, once again whilst I was out, he was up the pub at lunchtime as well as last night from 7pm. He has been snacking on crisps and hot cross buns, and he did not take up the offer to share my cheesy chips when I came up to watch the jazz band around 9pm
.
Whilst in Ashford I had lunch at Wetherspoons. A very enjoyable day despite the cold.
