jazzy_daveYesterday I visited Deal on the coast. It was cooler there, but only slightly cooler. Bought a charity shop sourced hardback , “Russia In The Age of Peter The Great” by Lindsey Hughes (Yale Univ. Press).
Another slab of vinyl arrived in the post as well -
Count Basie and His Orchestra “Afrique” (Flying Dutchman),which contains the killer track “Kilimanjaro”..
Today I have been sorting out some books for selling in Faversham, which I will do tomorrow now, as I spent the afternoon in the garden , finishing a Margaret Atwood book, and starting one on poetry.
Cousin has been to the doctors, and has been diagnosed with ulcers in the throat. No wonder he sounds so hoarse. Even a horse would be not as hoarse as he is al the moment.
