I'm Walking
Nov. 16th, 2012 09:48 pmThis morning I walked to Sittingbourne and back. The reason for this is that my cousin had an interview at the Job Centre for a certain northern based supermarket. He needed to wear his only suit and thus I gave him the return bus money to get there and back. Also, I am short on money till next Wednesday, and I thought it would be good for me to walk the three miles there.
When I got back had a quick sandwich and then walked down to the station to get a short free train ride to Faversham, and then walked back from there. Feet felt a bit tired when I got home, and then slumped out watching the TV in time to watch the final head to head on the antiques programme Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.
However I did find a classic jazz LP in Faversham for 25 pence - Cannonball Adderley “African Waltz” (Riverside) and a few singles for 10 pence each including a classic Dionne Warwick single “Do You Know The Way To San Jose?".
