jazzy_daveThe other book on Doctor Who arrived in the post this morning, JohnTulloch and Manuel Alvarado's “Doctor Who,The Unfolding Text” (Macmillan). .This book from 1983 is one of the earliest critical analysis ,in a sociological context ,of the TV programme, and was part of the Communication And Culture series edited by Stuart Hall. It will complement the philosophical tome.
