jazzy_daveDefinitely a lazy day indoors as the weather outside has been so abysmal. Decided to open up the four CD set of "The Joe Harrott Story" (Proper Records) and currently listening to the second CD. Some tracks feature a short lived Ronnie Scott Big Band featuring Joe.
There is also an excellent biography that came out last year which is worth pursuing.
Proper Records boss wrote the "Last Shop Standing" book, which I read and then got the DVD based on the record shops that are still surviving.
