LJ Down?

Oh dear. It seems that Livejournal is currently down as i have just tried to get onto the site and i seem to be getting timed out. Does anybody else who crossposts to LJ having the same problem?

It is very frustrating.

Hmmm...might be your server on your side of the world. We get glitches like that in the States a lot, even when no one else is having problems... Might be doing maintenance without warning, cause - you know - with ElJay that is an actual Thing.

Everybody has that problem at one time or another.
How much of it is due to DoS attacks
and how much to pathological "improvements" is uncertain...

Not to mention how IE unfriendly LJ is.

I can't do much of anything with it in IE -- have to use Chrome or whatever -- same with Dream Wideth.

LJ was down for me today for about an hour- and now that it's back up, most of my posts are automatically duplicated. If it happens again now, I shall leave the duplicate post up, so you can see what I'm talking about.
