London Visit
May. 24th, 2019 10:03 pmYou may be wondering how quiet I have been today.
Well, the answer is simple. I have been in London most of the day.
Left home 5:30 am this morning to get the 6:06 train to London Bridge. I had a couple of coffee shop kiosk visits to do at Bexleyheath and Welling.
Once I did these I had time to get to Notting Hill to peruse the racks of MVE, my favourite part exchange vaunt. I had loads of CD's to which I received £26 in vouchers.
These are what I found -
Mark Anthony Turnage - Your Rockaby (Argo)
Stravinsky Edition: Ballets Volume Two (Sony Classical) 3 CD
Frank Zappa - Strictly Genteel (Rykodisc)
Piere Boulez - Pli Selon Pli, Le Visage Nuptial, etc (Erato) 2 CD
Courtney Pine - To The Eyes Of Creation (Island)
Greg Osby - 3D Lifestyles (Blue Note)
Chris Bowden - Time Capsule (Soul Jazz)
Archie Shepp - Fire Music (Impulse)
Art Pepper - Meets The Rhythm Section (OJC)
I also did a purchase and refund visit to a charity shop in Camden before coming home.
And now I have three reports to do.
