A joke for physicists -

Heisenberg and Schrödinger get pulled over for speeding. The cop asks Heisenberg "Do you know how fast you were going?" Heisenberg replies, "No, but we know exactly where we are!"

The officer looks at him confused and says "you were going 108 miles per hour!" Heisenberg throws his arms up and cries, "Great! Now we're lost!"

The officer looks over the car and asks Schrödinger if the two men have anything in the trunk. "A cat," Schrödinger replies. The cop opens the trunk and yells "Hey! This cat is dead." Schrödinger angrily replies, "Well he is now."

Okay i have ruffled a few feathers of certain people but then it has happened to me. So c'est la vie! And i was suffering from a bloody headache at the time which simmered down a little bit  at The Basketmakers this evening - hence the drink of plain water - no beer. To paraphrase "if you find me so irratating in the first place, why did you ever join the stall?" - ouch! (see below at "Rant Rant Rant")  I admit i have a sharp tongue at times but i was being slightly funny and "smug" as [profile] bradxxx would say. (whom i don't find "smug" at all but a right down-to-earth-fella) - I guess it is always a thin line between insults and barbed humour and it is so easy to offend and for that i apologise. Well , it is done and dusted now,and i don't think she is a witch at all ; however, recording that one side of the Leopard Leg LP deep in darkest Sussex forest at night does sound like a covern summoning up demons, spirits, and goblins. Scary stuff but enjoyable, and definitely was in my Top 40 of 2006 - i know i digress - just like to shake hands and say to RFW "no hard feelings". (As long as you don't feel my "hard"  - oops joking again!). Kissey kissey!!

Anyway i had to leave there  (the Basketmakers) about 8pm to do a PRS at The Western Front , a night of live locally based singer/songwriters (Cate Ferris,Emily Baker and Aaron King) and jotted down the tunes of what each performer was singing, whether own material or covers  - not heard of any of them before this evening.  Discovered a few moments ago that all of them have tracks to listen to on MySpace.
I opted  to have a lime cordial with soda whilst in the venue, deciding that the beer there (being keg lager) would cause my headache to roar back up again. I left the venue just after 11.30 and had the munchies for a nice juicy kebab.

Now then must try to be up early as it is going to a fine dry day as far as the weather is concerned, and a trip to London for that RUSS job.
