Margate Visit
Jan. 24th, 2015 07:53 pmIt was very cold on the north east Kent coast today when i visited Margate to do a charity shop visit. I was going to take some photos around the town but it was windy as well and too cold for me to even bother.
Having said that, i did find a couple of interesting books and a soul music compilation called In The Midnight Hour, which is a selection of soul classics from the sixties and seventies.

Hand Drawn Maps
Jan. 21st, 2015 11:48 amInspired by the hand drawn maps from the book i have just finished here is one that i did for a possible meet up with somebody who does not know this area and needs direction to points of interest, specifically pubs, as i imagine them to be a drinker. MORE SPECIFICALLY A REAL ALE DRINKER !!
Opposite "my house" is a building i forgot to mention next to Station Road which is our local fish and chip shop. The post office is also our local pharmacy. The square between the A2 and High Street is The Forum , an indoor shopping area.

This was a rough sketch done on a sheet of A4 paper. What would be your hand drawn map and your points of interest? The ball is in your court, so to speak.
