TO ALL MY AMERICAN FRIENDS. 

I was going to say that I overslept this morning, but actually, that is wrong. I woke up at eight and then rather than getting up, and knowing how comfy soft my bedding is here in Seaford, I tended to read the latest Wire magazine, and a few chapters of one of my new books. It is now midday and I am dressed, and having my first coffee of the day.

Oh yes, finally got a physical copy of the current issue of Wire.



Over the Xmas period, I have sold four items on Discogs - which has surprised me - after months of nothing. Mostly going to Europe, and one to Australia, plus; all jazz-related CDs.

First, a big thank you to everybody who has sent Xmas cards and helped with funds over the current month. You have all made this a wonderful time of the year.

Secondly, hope y'all had a great Xmas as well.

Big .thumbs up to everybody who made my last weekend on the Sussex coast such a memorable one, particularly GC, who surprised me with a late birthday meal at Café Rouge on the Monday, and a wonderful visit to La Tasca on the Tuesday with my brother, GC, and Graeme. Not forgetting a good vibe at the Northern Lights on Saturday.
