Recommend A Good Book

jazzy_daveA couple of books that i picked up some time ago, and relevant to the study of feminism, one which is an historical account, Women in Britain Since 1900 by Sue Bruley (Palgrave) , and the other one from a sociological aspect , Women In Contemporary Britain, An Introduction by Jane Pilcher (Routledge).
The reason for mentioning these two books, is that i have just started reading the former one, as it is a subject i know very little about. I do welcome any other recommendations.

Date: 2014-04-02 02:10 pm (UTC)I picked up 4 books yesterday. I got all four for just under $35. They were all on sale. One of them had a retail price of $60. So not as good as your deals, but I think I did okay. :)
