I went out for a walk after lunch as it was still a hot sunny day. Also, I  needed to walk off the spicy chilli burger with salad, followed by strawberries. I took the Canon compact with me and walked down towards Lynstead Lane.

I then tool a sharp left down Cambridge Lane towards Cellar Hill. On the way I found an old bath tub. I thought it was some found art, a ready-made, put there by Marcel Duchamp but there was no R.Mutt autograph.

I had to take a picture of this beautiful thatched cottage in Cellar Hill.

The last picture is of the Dover Castle Inn which my mate Phil use to run up to the end of January this year. It is now far from busy and is up for sale.

I was coming here to say the same thing.

I like pictures of the odd and decaying. Where was this, Dave? Was it just in a random field?

I am having problem with some keyboard keys , some keystrokes are not not responding hence the odd typo , as in "Field" and "down" in last comment. I have run out of a spray that cleans laptop keyboards and de-gunks them.As long as you got the gist in the last comment okay, but apologizes in advance, just in case. Note to self to visit computer shop tomorrow.

Over here, it is sometimes hard to find a place willing to take old scrap like a tub. So you get a new, micer tub put in and then have to look for a place to leave the old one. This leads to leaving it in the woods,IMHO.

That is partly true here. The local council will only rake such items away at a price!

I've seen people paint an old tub and fill it with soil and flowers.

I like that idea- painting an old bathtub and planting flowers in it.
