In many ways this has been a long day. Started out doing a mystery shop at the Apple Store and then the lunch club followed by some beers at the Evening Star pub. Plus a purchase from Waterstones a few charity shop finds.
This was the last lunch club of this year before Xmas. The usual crowd came and we decided to have something special for the New Year. We had a very enjoyable time, dome great conversations and the occasional funny moment.
Afterwards i popped into Waterstones as i had a voucher to spend and picked up this from thier philosophy section -

I the found these in various chaorty shops -

I then had a few beers at the Evening star pub ending up with a half of Arbor Indy Girl ale (9.7 % ABV). Top heavy yummy beer!

Home of Comic Relief (the superb comic store, not the UK charity), Jupiter (with many superb beers, though exclusively keg-based, and great tossed pizzas), and incredible views from up Nimitz Way, across to the Pacific to the west, and way out to the greater area to the east. (I must try cleaning up the pano I shot from up there - sadly, with a not so great lens, but the software I have now might be able to make up for some of that)
