In Vino Veritas

jazzy_daveSport has dominated the proceedings of the day with cousin watching the tennis this morning and then the FA Cup match, followed by the draw for the next round.
I was content reading a book, or a number of book in tandem, from the Tony Benn dipper, Plato's Republic, Henry David Thoreau' “Walden”, “Age of Anxiety” and now Margaret Attwood's “Lady Oracle”, another of those fifty book challenge titles I have set for myself.
In books you rarely find the untermensch of life , just great protagonists in a ripping yarn. And with that thought, with Phil back from his week off , and having something red in a bottle to share,off we shall shortly depart to the Inn in vino veritas.
