Visits To The Two F's

Two visits today, Faversham and Folkestone. Problem was, i had forgot that being the first weekend of September it was the annual Hop Festival in Faversham. Town was mobbed, and i had to do a pub visit, I had my usual steak meal which normally comes with a free drink, but because it was the damn bloody Hop Festival, the drink was not free! I had to pay for the meal, the beer and a gin and tonic. In all a total of at least five quid over the maximum the research company will pay for the meal for that client.

Oh well, grin and bear it I thought.

I must admit some of these folks walking around Faversham with a bead of hops on their heads do look silly.

Once the hops dry out they blacken and create a horrible stain.

Picked up two DVD sets dead cheap -

Battlestar Galactica Season 2
Charmed Season 2

Anyway, joined in the beer fest on the way back and i need to sleep now. Sunday a day of not doing much at all.

Huh! They don't pay actual expenses? Seems a bit off. (Ah, there's a surprise)

They pay a fee and a spend up to ten pounds, but as the promotions were suspended for the festival the food cost including drinks was just under fifteen , which i will have to put forward to it.
