Avantoscope at The Fringe

One of my favourites was "You Breathe life Into My Busom,Oleander" by Barbara Doser and Hofstetter Kurt, and also "Hyrcynium Wood" by Ben Rivers, but on the whole every short experimental film had something to offer. Ian Helliwell let us on into a secret - he will be curating Avantoscope in 2006 as well.
This morning decided to order the Stan Brakhage DVD Anthology at last since i have sold over £90 of items from my Amazon marketplace (which will mean a big postal trip tomorrow) and soon i should have some sales from Ebay as well. So after a lean fiscal period things are looking up again.
The free Facts magazine (issue 11) which i picked up from Resident has an article about Joe Bussard and his top twenty 78's.Fascinating. The rest of the mag is okay - at least it's free.
Just finished reading "Conversations 2" by Jeffery Brown and James Kochalka (Top Shelf 2005). Very amusing little comic book.
Today is dependent on the weather but will go to the "Cosmic Science" film event at the Phoenix Gallery this evening no matter what.
