Tough times
Jan. 9th, 2006 10:49 amWell back to the journal after a few days of not writing anything and that is simply because of little to write about. It is also financially tight for me after the big splash for Xmas. Sunday was a crappy rainy day anyway and only ventured out to have a coffee since i had a full loyalty card filled up to obtain a free one.
Saturday didn't do much. Infact since the new year i have been catching up with sounds i bought that have not listened to or DvD's i didn't get round to watching. I did o couple of trips to Paul at brighton Books and sold some old books. I have sold a few items on Ebay but payments are yet to filter through to my account. Next pay day isn't til the 14th anyway.
Bank Holiday Monday i played a CD i hadn't listened to for years. The Hyperion 3 Cd collection of Shostakovich's Preludes and Fugues from 1992. A Wire winner of that year if i remember rightly.
However whilst January looks bleak the work i am doing now will give me a much happier February.
Stephen will be back this week and perhaps i could interest him in some stuff.
