Sandpiper Is Back!
May. 14th, 2006 08:55 pmNice to see Sandpiper re-open on last Friday after so many weeks of inactivity.The books i got from the excellent remainder bookshop are first of all three from the backroom,and one from the main section of the shop.

Miles And Me, by Quincy Troupe (paperback by Miles Davis's autobiography collaborator.
The Letters Of Gertrude Stein & Thornton Wilder (hardback)
Ball and Hammer,Hogo Ball's Tenderenda The Fantast,introduced by Jonathan Hammer (hardback,illustrated by Joanthan hammer).
An Eye on The Modern Century,Selected Letes of henry McBride (Hardback,which incidentally has letters to Gertrude Stein).
I started reading Living Room today and found it fascinating.It's staying with me at lleast for the time being.
