Seventies Music and Other Decades
Jul. 6th, 2006 05:17 pmBagrec has an interesting piece on the Seventies music scene today with loads of comments equally interesting and polemical.Even my mate Alasdair Willis added his penny's worth, one of the collest guys in town with a real diverse musical outlook. Just check his collection out on http://alasdairwillis.com to see what i mean. Anyway i added my comment as well.
Basically i had no problem with any decade really,as i said in my comment, each decade has its share of Superb music and utter crap or shite. It dos seem strange that the previous decade seems to get denegrated by people from the following decades (punk vs prog-rock as an example).
As i write this i am currently listening to garage rock or pysch-rock (whatever they callit) from the sixties on the excelelnt "Nuggets" compilation.
Next i might play thirties blues or fifties easy listening or seventies Krautrock.
Viva good music anywhere.

Chop Prescott
Jul. 6th, 2006 10:36 pmIt's about time they got rid off John Prescott. He is now a total joke and his position has to be untenable. He has usurped his position far too much. I don't often get into the smutty affairs of politics on my blog - BUT ,apart from seeing his ugly face in the media,he is now beyond his sell by date.
