Survey at the Tesco Express Hove yesterday afternoon through to the evening, all twenty interviews done, and a pint at the pub across the road before a bus back home.

Morning a well deserved lie in. Post came with the usual unsolicited mail plus a CD through Amazon, Rodd Keith "I Died Today" (Tzadk). Later in Resident bought the reissue of "Colossal Youth" by Young Marble Giants (Domino) expanded into a 3CD set with a thoroughly engrosing overview  by Simon Reynolds in the booklet with the set. Also a CD by three of the UK 's finest "fire music" improvisers Steve Noble, John Edwards and Alan Wilkinson "Obliquity" (Bo Weavil).Bo Weavil is turning out to be quite a fascinating label.and seems to be concentrating on acid folk and improv jazz.

A postal strike today means that i won't be posting work off til tomorrow.
