Q uiet day just going through and sampling some recent finds ,and then went down Western Road to meet the wife for lunch.

On the way back popped into a chazzer, and bought the following three for 99p each -

Cyril Stap;eton - Great Film and Television Themes (Pye Quad series LP)
Les Reed - The Hit Making World of .. (Decca LP)
National Youth Jazz Orchestra - Full Score (NYJO LP)

Then popped down North road to buy some 7" master bags from Rounder records for the 10 pence singles i bought in Crawley, and saw Hassini walking in the opposite direction up North Street. Then noticed that Brighton Books shop in the same street is having a closing down sale. They have not been open for that long and seem to be going just as quick ,and apart from a few art books ther e was nothing much there that interested me.

From Borderline in their sale a reissued jazz album "Fallout" by Terry Smith (Sundazed) - originally released in 1968.

Tomorrow meeting Ruth down at the Marina prior to the job which starts on Friday.

Tonight England's first game with the new manager, a friendly against Switzerland. Hope we play well!
