The Marina
Feb. 8th, 2008 08:09 am Focus group event last night in which i earned a much needed thrity squid.
Met Ruth down at the Marina for an introduction to QRS half day training (well about an hour realy) as experienced researcher don't need much training. It was such a lovely day up to the afternnon as well. had a pint of beer and some food at Lloyds No.1 watching the world go by.

Frank Sinatra - Strangers In The Night (Reprise LP) - cool version of "Down Town"
Heavy D and The Boyz - Big Time (MCA LP) - old skool hip hop
Sound-poet Henri Chopin died about a month ago but an obit finally appered in the Guardian recently -

Also a piece on sound-poet artist Isidore Isou in Plan B magazine whose album "Poem Letttristes 1944 -1999 i still have on the woinderful Alga Marghen label (limited to 500 copies).
Noticed that the second volume of Meic Stevens Eps is available in Borderline for tenn quid on CD but not seen the vinyl there,although it would be nice to pick some original EPs so later in the summer a trip to Wales might be on the cards. Diolch yn fawr.
