Rather later than never is the playlist from Thursday's Quadrant bash. the new owner , Robert, was nowhere to be seen and i had to pay for my own pints (whereas before they were generally free). I don't know how things will pan out for May as they are a Festival venue, and they lok like having a regular open mike night on Thursdays.

It looks like John Martyn records have had a renewed wave of interest since his untimely death so some early ones reaching three figures on Ebay. I only have three of his albums but none are the Pink label Islands but are blue label  reissues from late sevnities or early eigties ones despite retaining the same catalogue numbers.

So not as collectable as the pink Islands. Best to keep them anyway as "Solid Air" is a real classic be it original or reissue.


It has been the sunniest day of the Easter hols.  Typical!

Tomoorow will check to see if the ber job comes through the post as i was expecting it to be here by Saturday to do over the Easter weekend.
