Weekend Frolics

Perusing around Facebook recently i found these two amusing photos of my DJ friends,Ville and Ally Smith. Ville is currently in Finland for ten days and Ally is flying out tomorrow.Hopefully,next time it will be me goung with them.

Friday did the Northern Lights til 2am - a great evening which went down well. Manu has two decks and a mixer at last but they are cheap belt drive ones and need getting use to after direct drive Technics.All i need now is to bring the records.

Saturday another DJ gig at The Hampton Arms pub. Punters arrived early and asked James behind the bar if i was DJing that evening. I HAVE GROUPIES!!! It was the same crowd who enjoyed my set last time , and again got up and jigged in the pub. Towards 1am I put on some slow soul tracks and to a Srevie Wonder tune "!All in Love Is Fair" i danced with the lovely Hannah. She is one of the bar people on a weekend, and there is a new gal too called Beth.

Sunday was the usual 7 Inch Sunday and Ally with Sini came along. He spun seven fine funky tunes that is now on my wants list.
