Fahrenheit 451
Jan. 15th, 2011 11:26 pmBack in the seventies i read the Ray Bradbury book "Fahrenheit 451" and just today watched the Truffaut film version of it on DVD.
Basically it is about the loss of books and that such material is outlawed and have to be burned so that the mind is not corrupted by such incendary ideas whether it is a novel, poem , history , philosophy or whatever is written on the printed page. In the ned he joins the rebels and becomes a living book.
It is a film well worth watching again.
