Today I finished off a couple more mystery shops in Brighton. Met Lorna again for coffee and to do her prescription at Boots. I get it for free.

Picked up three books from Sussex Stationers in London Road at 90 % discount. Last day for them as they are closing forever. So, for example a book at £7.99 would be 79 pence!

I purchased the following -

William Burroughs “Queer” (Penguin Modern Classics)
John Mortimer “Rumpole At Christmas” (Penguin)
Richard Overy “1939, Countdown To War” (Penguin)

Total cost £1.87

I wonder what the boys and gals over at vg+ are reading? (www.verygoodplus.co.uk)

Tomorrow back to Kent stopping in Maidstone to do another mystery shop.

And finally, this is my 2,200th entry on LJ.

They say that I am a crepuscular animal when I emerge out to haunt the neighbourhood after a night of revelry from my Djing habit. This is true, I am a creature of the night , often caged in the daytime but wild and untamed once the sun has dipped below the horizon. Such an event will occur on April Fools Day, as I will be hugged over the decks down at the Northern Lights, howling to the moon, and eyeing up young ladies with a furtive lustful desire.

April 1st is Shake Your Booty night, and all you fine nocturnal habitués of pubs and clubs are most welcome.
