After the diatribe last evening my cousin has apologised for his drunken outburst and he does not want to see me go. He was very humble this morning and I accepted it because I knew it was the drink talking.Quod erat demonstratum.

Today I gave him £80 to pay off his TV license debt (standing at £84) as I said I would help him out as much as possible. He gave me shelter where none (except for the wonderful friend in Brighton ) would give, and for that I am very thankful.

I was hurt and felt very low but now I feel a lot more sanguine. Perhaps we needed the argument to blow off any tension that might have been built up and with a sense of catharsis feel more closer.

A loaded question. If i could go back and undo or ease things that caused me pain then i would, but would that make me a stronger person than i would have been is doubtful. You cannot undo the past, but you can learn from, it and in that way it does make you a stronger person.

A journey this afternoon to Maidstone to do another mystery shop.

Whilst in the town I picked up some pipe shag on my way down to the golf shop. Afterwards I went into a couple of charity shops and picked up two Spike Milligan books and the book the film “The French Connection” was based on. The French Connection book came with the DVD as well for a mere £1 as a combined book and DVD package.

Beforehand I posted off all my recent sales as well. Four slabs of vinyl, Some Cds and a few books.
