Back in The Garden Of England
Mar. 24th, 2011 08:41 amWEDNESDAY
Another lovely sunny day especially for travelling down to Kent. Took the Ben Macintyre book with me to read (“Agent Zigzag”) and by the time I got to Teynham I completed almost two thirds of it. A terrific read so far.
The book I won from the Book Club arrived as well. John Le Carre's “The Spy Who Came In From The Cold”, quite an apt book to follow Agent Zigzag , as both are about spies and espionage, whether it is the last World War or the Cold War.
THURSDAY AM
Last night Tim and I had a very spicy chilli con carne and we had the halumi with herbs with it, a gift from GC. Never had halloumi before but I found it to be a delicious cheesy dish.
This morning read quite a lot of chapters of Agent Zigzag with just four chapters to go. Once read I shall pass this on to my brother
Posting off a pack of six CDs to a guy in Germany once i wached Frazier on Channel 4
