Yesterday cousin finally got the last cycle on the washing machine completed and was able to hang out the clothes. Thank goodness.
Meanwhile I took a round trip via Maidstone to Ashford doing a few shops. Had lunch at The Cock Horse in Detling. Lovely pint of St. Austell Trelawny Ale to go with the food , which was pan seared tuna steak with asparagus and crushed new potatoes. It was absolutely fantastic. Really delicious food.

Service could have been better and friendlier though. Then waited for a bus to despatch me to Maidstone.
I then took a bus to Ashford from Maidstone , going through the pretty village of Charing on the way.
Did some shopping in Ashford which took longer tahn expected and did not arrive back in Teynham til about 7pm Cousin was a little bit out of joint because he was getting hungry and waited for me to turn up.
In Ashford picked up some more cheap paperbacks to sell online.
It was a very hot day, and i was sweltering all day long under a thrity degree sun.
