Update

An update on the situation with the brother of Lorna. He has had two strokes, the second one being severe, and that he had very high blood pressure. He has lost his speech and is hanging on for Lorna to arrive. He is in his forties.

Anyway, Lorna flies out tomorrow for a month. He is an iCU unit but i don't know where but i presume it is Manila. My heat goes out to the Castillo family.

Some Filipino food can have very high salt content especially dried fish and cured meats.Perhaps that is part of the reason for his high blood pressure but I am only guessing here. I shall be seeing L. sometime in November.

Staying In

I was going to go out but midday the weather had changed for the worst. It has been raining most of the afternoon , so i decided to sort and shift around racks that i might play next Wednesday. I also re-arranged the pile of books i seem to ve amassing.

Tomorrow morning i am off to Eastbourne for the beer festival so I shall be leaving early. I am looking forward to it.
