RIP Junior Murvin

I hear that Junior Murvin of "Police and Thieves" fame has just died. The Clash did a cover of it but for me the orginal by Murvin is the best.

Rising Star

Flo, the cat, is back on my bed, and fast asleep. I have just sorted out some books to take with me to Faversham. It is a market day there and the bookshop where i shall take them will be open. Outside, it is very dull and bleak looking, with the caveat of it being a dry day.

Meanwhile, my star is rising high on the LJ ratings.

Quick Visit

So I went to Faversham to sell some paperback  books and got some money for them, and then popped into the library to print some paperwork relating to a visit i shall be doing tomorrow. I could have spent more time there but I felt that I had to get back to finish reading a book that i forgot to take with me.

Also, the dullness of the day was making me feel depressed.

Still waiting for a delayed payment from one of my companies and it is annoying me.

Eggheads

A couple of Eggheads just watched, and although they are old episodes, I got 92 % of the questions correct.. The only downside is that they still  had the obnoxious CJ on the team. It is much bettter without him.
