Finished watching a documentary on the excellent BBC 4 channel on the catch-up feature called "Definitely Dusty" .- about Dusty Springfield.  It reminded me of what a great vocalist she was ,and how she defined blue eyed soul in the sixties, and got reinvented again as a disco queen with the Pet shop Boys in the early nineties.

So here is two classic Dusty tracks -

I just put on my new Maine khaki green cargo pants on. They fit great. Only four quid from a charity shop in Sittingbourne yesterday (Tomorrow People) and with my Eastbourne beer festival T shirt and grey Maine sweatshirt (also from a chazzer) and funky white and black trainers, I am ready to go out and to be cool..

This morning i caught the bus
To Tunbridge Wells without a fuss
And then to leafy Sevenoaks.
Had a beer with some blokes,
Whom bought loads of cheap music.
So off i went at haste and quick
To the charity shop with the good stuff
Loads of cheap CD's , and just enough
For me to pick out four
Of groovy music to explore.
All four came only to a quid,
And I was like an excited kid.

Thus here are the four that i will explore.
