Well, another day of visits done, and three reports entered online with just one to go , which i will do later or in the morning. Plus another fine sunny day - even warmer than yesterday.
First town i hit was the coastal enclave of Herne Bay, in which i did a chemists and a travel agent. As i did not get a receipt at the chemists i had to phone the office ,wait thirty minutes and return to buy something else to check if i got a receipt - instructions say you must not ask for one - and nope, i didn't So in the meanwhile , between the two visits, i pooped into the Saxon Shore pub for a pint of Swedish ale -
Zeunerts Swedish IPA (5.5 % ABV).After the re-visit i discovered a micro-pub called
The Firkin Frog, which as you enter is like being in somebody's front room.

The beer is not on a hand pump but direct from the barrel. I had a pint of
Limestone Brewery Flagstone (4.2 % ABV) .
I then caught the train over to Gravesend to do my Cash Converters mystery shop, and then the train back to Sittingbourne to do a charity shop at a branch of Tomorrow Peoples Trust . I hoped to get some Tomorrow People (TV series) related stuff but they didn't have any, so i ended up with a khaki green cargo shorts , a book and a CD for my five quid.
The CD is a jazz-funk or jazz dance album by
Candy Dulfer. Very funky butt wiggling grooves.

Here is her version of the Miles Davis tune "So What".
Enjoy the funk!
The book is another copy of
"Wolf Hall", by
Hilary Mantel,, which i will get round to reading before the next volume in the series.
Then back in Faversham a sneaky pint of
I Wantsum Golgotha (5.5 % ABV) at the Elephant pub.
