Yesterday in Brighton

Another wet morning. It is raining again. Keeping my fingers crossed that it wilt dry up later for the journey back to Kent.

Met Ville , my Finish mate, in the Evening Star pub yesterday and he popped in to the Northern Lights last night. He is a very tall 6 ft. plus Finnish hairy geezer. Use to a sort haired or bald headed guyat one time but has decided to become the grizzly man of the north. Kind of suits him too.



On the way from the pub and down the hill towards the Northern Lights i noticed this sign outside another pub. Do the roasts play piano and trumpet for you i wonder?



The lunch at Bellota was superb as always. Mark, our usual  host was not there, and i was informed he was having a day off. I then quipped to the attractive female host that perhaps he had the day off because he knew that the old reprobates were coming.

Fir a tenner the three tapas are very filling especially their special Bellota salad, as it is quite huge.

Phil an I walked to Chili Pepper Pete's establishment as he wanted to buy some extremely hot sauce, so he bought this -





A satisfying day.
