Relaxing Sunday
Oct. 23rd, 2016 06:00 pmI was rudely awoken by the alarm i forgot to switch of this morning - hence the animated gif in the previous post. I fell back into bed and slept for a further two hours.
For lunch i had a very delicious and tasty spinach and ricotta pizza followed by a bowl of fresh fruit.

I was going to visit Canterbury but i have decided to move the job to Tuesday when i will be doing a coffee shop and a pub drunk and food visit as well as a charity shop visit.
So it is another day of relaxing and reading.

Sunday Music Selection - Funky Grooves
Oct. 23rd, 2016 06:31 pmTime to funk it up a bit
Fela Kuti Africa 70 and Ginger Baker - Let's Start
Originally recorded in 1971 and 1978 by Fela Kuti’s band, Africa 70, with the addition of former Cream drummer Ginger Baker, this album contains 4 songs plus a bonus track 16-minute drum duet between Baker and Africa 70’s drummer Tony Allen recorded at the 1978 Berlin Jazz Festival.
Let’s Start: ‘Let us start what we’ve come into the room to do’ is telling it as it is — graphic explicit sex. Sung in Yoruba with some broken English explanations, Fela calls on his partner in the room to get on with it, ‘don’t play the innocent…let’s start! Take off your clothes! Let’s start!’. The recording has Ginger Baker, of the former English pop group ‘Cream’ playing live as guest drummer on some tracks like Let’s Start, in place of Tony Allen, the regular drum player in Fela’s Africa 70 band. The Album titled ‘Live with Ginger Baker’ was recorded in the sixteen track mobile studio Ginger Baker sold to Polygram Nigeria in 1976.

A Scary Ghost
Congratulations, you will kick the bucket and transform into a ghost that human beings will come to fear. Your super scary haunting skills will include (but won't be limited to): pulling sheet covers off of sleeping people, levitating over sleeping people's beds, and making loud thumps, groans, and noises. Phew, you'll have your work cut out for you.
What did you get?

Oh Shannen ....
Oct. 23rd, 2016 07:59 pmI wish you wouldn't have had to go through any of this...but you are strong and you can beat this. Stay strong. Sending lots of love and prayers ..

As Shannen said on Friday -
Day after chemo-day isn't always so great. Sometimes one isn't able to dance, or eat or even to think about the next day. Sometimes it just feels like you aren't going to make it. That passes. Sometimes the next day or 2 days later or 6 but it passes and movement is possible. Hope is possible. Possibility is possible. To my cancer family and everyone suffering.... stay courageous. Stay strong. Stay positive ..
That is all you can ask.
