A Day Off

I slept very deeply last night and i guess that was due to the hassles of the day with the train journey. So today rather than pop down to Hastings to do an couple of jewellers and a pub food and drink visit,which i have moved to Saturday, i am taking the day off..

Whilst on the train that did not go to Dover (yesterday) i got chatting to another passenger about how the rail companies cannot throw a tea party for monkeys, which amused her, and discovered that she is a book dealer in secondhand books and antiquaria  and takes part in these book fairs. I found out that she resides in Deal and will be at the next book fair in Faversham in June. I have been meaning to attend these events and now i have a reason to doso.

I shall be popping into the town as it is another warm sunny day and i will be making the most of it.

Here we hit a lovely 28 degrees centigrade ….

It will be just as warm tomorrow when i do my footfall count in Whitstable.

From 9AM to 5PM

£95 for the day’s work! Yippee.
