Well That Was A Merry Go Round
Jul. 20th, 2019 03:07 amRight well, erm, yes it is almost three in the morning. It has been a long day. Satisfying in one respect getting five visits done and frustrating in other aspects. Well, it had to be an early start which I do not mind - 7 AM - but then I did not get back till 2 AM!
I did my pub visit at around seven in the evening. Afterward, to get back home I decided to catch the 12 to Seaford from Eastbourne and then train to Lewes and from there the 18 to Tunbridge Wells and train back home. The problem started with the 18 bus from Lewes. It had developed this screeching sound and causing passengers some discomfort. So the driver gets to Uckfield and goes to the depot and tells everybody to embark onto another bus that he drove out of the depot leaving the noisy tin can there. Now he is seriously late and with roadworks and diversions on the main A26 he goes a different way to Tunbridge Wells bd we finally arrive at 22:45. I catch the 23:05 train to Oeoington, change there to get to Bromley South and wait thirty minutes for the final last train at 00:30 to Faversham.
SO NO WAY AM I DOING ANY BLOODY WORK ON SATURDAY!
Just relaxing to Steeleye Span's album"Pleased To See The King".
I just love Maddy Pryor's vocals.
