Noticing that some of my LJr fiends write in two languages such as [livejournal.com profile] lisa_thecat mede me think of these questions.

How do you feel about commenting on other people's LJ sites? Do you comment in a circumspect way?

Would you comment on other LJ sites in a language that was not your own using a translator app or software.

Have you ever had to delete a comment? Have you ever had to ban somebody from commenting on your site.

I love talking to people, and that extends to commenting on journal entries as well. I am generally very open; I don't feel a need to be guarded in my answers, but may give shorter answers if there's no indication that conversation will continue. It makes me happy why when I get an opportunity to write a comment that's a bit more in-depth, like this one!

I would not use a translator app; I don't think they are accurate enough to communicate clearly.

I have only deleted a few comments, and one of them was my own. I have never had to ban anyone, but I guess that comes with being relatively new and unknown. :) I don't know if that will ever change, with lj being as quiet as it is, but I am content with the quiet, so I'd be happy either way.

I too tend to give comments depending on the subject and whether in dept or not,
