It was our monthly lunch club day in Brighton. Phil picked me up at the usual time and we headed down towards Brighton.We met at the Post and Telegraph - a 'Spoons pub - and had a couple of beers. Lunch was at our usual venue, Bella Italia, Mike and i had the Calzone Diavola which is described as "Spicy ‘nduja sausage, Italian pepperoni, chicken, mozzarella, red onion, cherry bell pepper and green chilli". Calzone is a folded pizza with pomodoro sauce.

Then for dessert most of the party opted for the Framenti.

Fried dough sugared strips with chocolate 🍫 sauce. On my word,so delicious.Not enough chocolate sauce though!


All washed down with the house red vino.

On the walk back to the station car park i popped into Across The Tracks to see what jazz and improv |D's they had. Found three for three quid each.
