Well, it seems the weather was being moribund and infuriating. Started cool and overcast, then sunny for a while and then some rain, before deciding to have a very sunny late afternoon.

I popped into town to put that tax rebate cheque into my account, a posting of two CDs I sold on Discogs, and pick up the latest Wire magazine, as well as pop into my local pub for some drinks and fish and chips.

On my charity shop excursion next door to the pub, I picked up another version of Mahler's Second Symphony for a quid. On my return home three CDs had arrived - one from my brother - another interpretation of Rachmaninov's Second and Third  Piano Concertos, a Charles Wuorinen CD, and Lester Bowie's The Great Pretender.






So in all, a wonderful day.
