Last Wednesday unbeknownst to cousin or myself we had low pressure with the water due to a leak somewhere. . Water board found the source of the problem in the road ,nothing to do with us (big relief),  and we were all affected including the neighbours. Cousin puts on the washing machine that same day to do some clothes and it does not spin. He had to wash by hand. The water pressure came back on Tuesday when the water board fixed the problem.

He tried to use the washing machine yesterday, and again it would not spin and started to overheat. basically the  machine is fucked. So now a new washing is needed. I gave him Beko's freephone number and he rung them to confirm if the low water pressure was the cause, as both our neighbour's  machines  (at no. 48 and 50) had also packed up within days of each other.

Hopefully we hope to get some compensation from the water board, which could  take some time.  Beko told him to write a letter to the board explaining the situation and that he has spoken to the washing machine company and that the water board to contact Beko for confirmation. Beko said that , although not definite , they are 90 % certain it is low water pressure to be the cause of the problem.

He wants me to look at Currys online to find a washing machine, as Tracy and Zoe next door have one that is half the price of the Beko. (His laptop is not working).

Jeez, what else can go wrong?
