OH YES A RESULT !! After weeks of letters to and fro to my bank they have given me an offer based on what i claimed against them, and it is in FULL without me having to go the county court, which would have cost me between £30 to £120 depending on the size of the claim.

I accepted as it is what i wanted and posted the acceptance letter the same dsy it arrived.

So for all those who have followed this thread i first must thank the Argus for making me aware of it and then moneysavingexpert.com for support and valuable information.

So once i have that lovely thousands (Well almost five and three zeroes  including interest over 6 years). of dosh in my bank it will be a champagne day!!!

It was a cool cold day in Crawley today doing the leaflet check survey but finished the job within 4 hours. As i was in a suburb on the outskirts of town i was not able to check out the charity shops for cool vinyl. Infact i was glad to get home to the warmth. Anyway i hate Crawley - ugly place.

Oh, and on the way back from Crawley i got cornered by Andy Parr on the train between Gatwick and Haywards Heath. I try to avoid him but he was in the same carriage as me and spotted me at the far end, despite it being full and people standing up,and pushed his way towards me. Luckily he got off at Haywards Heath.

Another band is coming to the UK end of April whom i would like to see (playing at The Komedia) and that is the Canadian group called The Silver Mt. Zion Orchestra and Tra-La-La Band (and are on the same label as the mighty Godspeed You Black Emperor and Do May Say Think). Strange names these Canadians have for their bands?
