Maidstone and Chatham Excursion
Jul. 7th, 2011 02:16 amAnother good day tripping around Kent, first stopping off at Faversham to pick up some more shag. Whilst there found an original Gunter Kallman Choir LP “The Very Best of..” (Polydor) for a quid in a charity shop. This LP has the original version of “Daydream”, which I think was revamped by I Monster some time ago. Selling it online for £4 at Discogs.com

Then I caught the bus to Maidstone , checked out some charity shops there, and picked up a dead cheap copy of Paul Theroux “The Pillars of Hercules” (Penguin), plus the CD “In Sides” by Orbital, the later issue ,which contains “The Saint (Theme Tune)" as well as “The Box”.
This evening been watching the classic Swedish detective series Wallander on BBC4. I Love the theme tune "Quiet Nights" by Anna Ternheim and have downloaded the track from Amazon.

Then finally to Chatham to do a mystery shop. I needed this excursion to take my mind of the situation back at base camp.
