Catching Up

A couple of catch-ups on TV programmes this evening - Marvel's Agents of SHIELD - which was excellent - and The Tomorrow People - which seems to limp along. It was great to see a couple of Asgard female warriors  battle it out. I was hoping Thor might have made an appearance but , alas, this did not happen.

I have been listening to the repeat of the classic radio series , The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, with the bemused Arthur Dent as the main protagonist along with Ford Prefect and others.  So with that folks, i bid you goodnight and like the guide "Don't Panic!".

Snizzles

O 'eck. Think i have a cold coming on. Been sneezing portentously the other day and this morning. There was a scintilla of the cold to come whilst in Faversham perusing the books displayed on this trestle  table outside of a charity shop. I went into a fit of constant sneezing , unless it was the dust from musty books that had caused  it.

Two CD's from Amazon came in the post as well. Both less than two quid each.




From the Rebecca Ferguson soul album i have chosen "Mr. Bright Eyes ", an uplifting number to wake me up today.

Next up, Talk Talk with Life's What You Make It. Just happens to be my favourite track by them.

Somewhat under-rated , in relation to Talk Talk, Bark Psychosis have quietly been releasing some great albums  including "Hex" and from that CD  They furrow a more post-rock groove in much the same way that Tortoise pushed the envelope in instrumental art rock. From Hex i have chosen "Absent Friends" to all absent friends.

And talking of Tortoise my favourite album by them was the second one with the side long "Djed" as it is so outa there.

Blah and humbug.
Full blown cold. Sniffy nose.
Not so bad on the sneezing as it goes.

Feeling a little under the weather.
Took some tablets.
Draw it out like hell for leather,
So that i no longer suffer lows
And next day, feel like a new rose.
