Midnight Soul

Here is my midnight groove today, a soul classic from Side Effect, a slinky number called Midnight Lover. Oh yes.

So if you have somebody to hug hug them tonight. For me, virtual hugs to all. Enjoy.

I was beginning to feel sleepy when i posted the soul number. Then for some strange reason  i had a jolt. I am awake again. So i looked at FB to see a couple of posts that my bro had put on. Oliver, one of his two cats, has not been well. Losing weight and been suffering with diarrhea.

A gentle loving cat in his fourteenth year. I do hope the blood test is good news and yet i fear ... my heart goes out  to Mike . I am welling up inside .. oh fingers crossed .. words fail.

 

Oliver Update

This is a quick update as i only just got the news a few moments ago . Oliver is fine, a little thin but other wise the blood results were positive . He is a fine.  i am so relieved for Mike and Ros. .i know how our pets, especially our cats are so dear to us. I know my brother will put a post up at some point today. i can tell you this, the relief is palpable. Oh and he thanks everyone for the support here and those who have commented on his blog. Thank you all.  LJ people are the best!

Tenderden Visit

Well that is Tenderden done and dusted on yet another hot sticky day. Two visits completed, one a Cancer Research charity shop and the other was a Red Cross outlet.

Picked up some interesting books and a couple of CD's - these are -





These four, in my opinion, were the best finds of the day. There was a couple of Philip Pullman books in the  Golden Compass series which i bought  plus these two fascinating compilation CD's  -





The latter is a hip hop comp on the excellent Mo Wax label.

Tomorrow nothing planned and probably listening to the two CD's.
