Hello peeps. I guess you wondered why no post earlier. Well i was getting prepared for my trip to Sussex this Wednesday morning. Had no time to even do a short one. When i arrived in the area i had an hour at max to dump my gear and head off for Brighton for my evening DJ gig. The fact that it was a midday just after the bank holiday meant that it was a quiet evening at the pub , so i finished early at eleven .

It was a good gig which allowed me to play an eclectic mix of tracks which i shall post tomorrow.

I took some photos along the way.

So as promised , the playlist from last night's DJ gig at the Northern Lights eaterie and pub. It was a quiet night with no more than twenty customers at any one time but it allowed me to play a very eclectic mix of music that veered all the way from jazz to folk via pop and soul music.

The other track is this folkish tune by Bonnie Dobson which the couple wanted to know who it was by last night and the track i played was Winter's Going.

We are having lunch at our usual monthly gathering in the tapas bar in central Brighton. Just waiting for GC to get her make up on and then we shall be ready to go. I also have a number of visits to do so urgency is essential , both in Brighton to do with the Sonos visits from my Russian comrades. Although if time gets short i can do all four tomorrow BUT they must be done tomorrow.

Might get a chance to peruse some charity shops as well. .

More pictures will be loaded up later today.  Dasvidaniya.

We had a lovely lunch at Bellota today. Mark was rushed off because a waitress did not turn up and he was on his own for a long time with just the chef doing the meals. It took some time for the food to be ordered and arrive but we had such a convivial conversation that it did  not matter too much in the end.

We had the three tapas each washed down with a Tempranillo red vino and lashings of San Miquel beer.
A couple of old gents were hanging around the bar until i discovered it was my bro and his mate Graeme.

The waitress arrived later on and we got her to do a group photo shoot of us.

Afterwards we all departed going our separate ways and i went with GC to the charity shop with free books where you can take up to maximum of three. We both got three books each. Mine were -

Then i had a real craft beer from the Evening Star, the wonderful Wild Beer Company Wildebeest Ale (11.) % ABV) !!!

On the way back to Seaford we stopped in Alfriston to pick up more cheap books.
I did not do any mystery shops. I shall all of them tomorrow. Today was a day of fun.

So in Alfriston we saw a table with books outside a house with a bunch of people taking books from the table. We turn around to find a space as near as possible , GC parked the car, and we had a look. Ended up with these -

We then took the car up the road to Seaford Head to take in the wonderful view of Cuckmere Haven  and the Seven Sisters. The Haven is where the river meanders down to the coast.
