Another selection of finely cut groovery.

Electronic System - Skylab

Groovy Belgian synth funk tune that I found way back in 2000 - exploded on the DJ scene in the chill out rooms in Brighton with my mates Ally  Smith and DJ Abo. Track from 1974 in fact.

Kool And The Gang - Summer Madness

These two go well together in a set.

Syreeta Wright and Stevie Wonder - To Know You is To Love You

Tanya Tagaq - Toothsayer

Toothsayer, a 5-track companion soundtrack to the circumpolar exhibit, is a conceptual collection that expands Tagaq's prestigious compositional body of work with ambient electronic and piano-driven textures, and features Tagaq in concert with long-time percussionist Jean Martin and UK experimental electronic artist Ash Koosha.

Wigwam - Pressure Time Field

Pressure Time Field
Music: Signs of the Silhouette
featuring Makoto Kawabata
Album : WIGWAM

Enjoy.

Wow! The latest episode of STD has used old clips from the original series to tie in with the current situation of  Spock and why they had to go to Talos IV. We also learn who the red angel is. Many have made derogatory remarks about this iteration if the Star Trek universe bit this third season is the best.

Stayed sunny and dry today so I popped into town to do the first of the five Spoons visits for SM. I had the steak today with jacket potato and peas. I will do the next one probably on Friday. Tomorrow I am heading to Hythe and Canterbury for a charity shop visit and one of these home systems in the cathedral city. I have joined another mystery shopping company (Ipsos) and this will be my first job for them.

Talking of Canterbury I shall be doing another  Canterbury Tales tour for SM. So I might purchase another Chaucerian book from the gift shop at the end of the event. It is part of the scenario and it does pay forty quid in all. They also pay quickly, within 12 days - hence that is why I like doing the batch of five pub food visits.

The CD ROM connected to the old Compaq laptop seems to be playing up. Had a slight glitch with a Soft Machine Cd which played perfectly on the Denon CD player in the common room. naggingly I might need to replace it, the CD ROM, not the Cd at some point. Although, actually, I am thinking of saving up for the Denon D T1 as it is all self-contained with built-in amp and separate speakers for that quality hi-fi sound.

Denon

So, right now I am listening to a jazz CD I found when last I visited Hythe for a charity shop visit. It is a French one by  Stephane Guillaume "Intra-Muros" (O+ Music 2006)

Track - Shade Indigo

Enjoy.
