The weekend is here. Quietly relaxing and the hoovering can wait till tomorrow morning lol!! So on such relaxing afternoons, I shall now reserve to listen to some quality operas. If you said I would be into opera ay 17 I would have laughed. But now, and ever since The Wire in 1991 that introduced me to Mozart, it has been one of those genres I have quietly appreciated, and hence today right now it is Don Giovanni.




I found this 3 CD set for a quid in a charity shop some weeks ago, but only got around to listening to it today.

Last night I watched the latest episode of the new season of Star Trek Discovery and the latest DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Both are very enjoyable series in my opinion.

The weather is cool around 6C and rain is expected within the next hour. So it is nice being warm at home with good music and good books.

How Arrowverse Crisis On Infinite Earths Will Go Down

Well i finally did get to watch Guardians of The Galaxy all the way through. Teriffic entertainment - thanks to Netflix. I also watched the latest Legends of Tomorrow as well -  plus more Doctor Who episodes,the ones with Catherine Tate.

Last night after our pub visit Phil gave me some left over food from his catering night in Faversham. It was a very delicious cottage pie with extra veg and roasted potatoes. I had it for lunch todau.It was delicious.

I also did some reading and almost finished another paperback.

It has been quite a sunny day but very blustery. I hope it stays dry tomorrow for my visit over to Hempstead Valley.

Having watched the first two parts of Crisis On Earth X (Supergirl, The Arrow) i will be soon watching the final two parts (The Flash, Legends Of Tomorrow). So far , i have really enjoyed the crossover.

It was catch up time today with three of my TV series - Supergirl, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Enjoyed them all - All excellent series btw.

However , come episode ep. 6 pf F;ash , and Arrow ep 8 with ep, 8 of Supergirl will be a new crossover story - Crisis on Earth X. Id it is anything like the last one , Invasion, it should be good.

Not such a nice day.Cloudy overcast with occasional sputtering of rain.However ,it is not a day i have had to go out and work , and thus,been able to do some reading,listening to the radio and catching upon TV programmes.

I have watched the latest Sleepy Hollow with that surprise ending where Ichabod becomes one of the Horsemen of The Apocalypse- War! That i did not expect!

Then the latest Supergirl with an ending that continues on the next episode of The Flash. I did watch the latest Flash but obviously it must have been the episode before the crossover, that is the one where Jay sacrifices himself to the speed force to save Wally and Barry.

Then the other series i caught up with is DC's Legends Of Tomorrow ,which remains continually entertaining.The only one i am having trouble getting into at the moment is The OA but i shall persevere.

So what has happeded to the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD?

For lunch i had a chicken and veg broth with dumplings and mashed potatoes.Very filling.

A war,er milder than it has been of late although we are now expecting rain late afternoon.

I caught up with the latest episodes of The Flash and DC's Legends Of Tomorrow I was happy to see the return of Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter aka Rory in Doctor Who) again, and that John Barrowman ( ex Torrchwood / Dr.Who) still playing the evil Malcolm Merlyn to perfection (see Arrow TV series as well).

Two hours of great TV watching via the Shush TV website.

I decided to have a major lie-in this morning till at least eleven. How decadent you might think. Nah, i was so dogged tired from yesterday.It was not helped by the fact that the age old excuse of leaf mulch delaying train journeys last night meant that i did not get back til just after midnight. Anyway, i watched another episode of Legends of Tomorrow before rolling into bed. It is a good fun series , though i do miss Arthur Darvill in it.

Latest DC comic adaption on Sky with the first episode of Legends Of Tomorrow starring the escellnet Arthur Darvill (Rory from Dr.Who). - just seen he first episode last night.

Great start , with charcters from Arrow and The Flash. That is, Firestorm, The Atom, White Canary, Hwkman and Hawkgirl, Heat Wave and Captain Cold.



In the series Time Master Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) travels back in time to the present day where he brings together a team of heroes and villains in an attempt to prevent Vandal Savage from destroying the world and time itself.

Looks promising.
