Well, what a lovely sunny if a cold day. I am in town today as I had received four pounds in vouchers from Unilever for an online complaint I did sometime last year for one of my companies. I had forgotten about it until I received an email from them followed by the letter with the vouchers and an apology for the delay.

Well, better later than never.

Well,. what a gloriously warm sunny day it has been for me. Stonking good sunbathing weather near the library which I exactly did for a good few hours, as well as some here in the gardens at the place.

In town, I entered Spoons for a yummy chicken breast, with coleslaw, hot chilli sauce and Mexican rice.

I had a few beers there - well three in fact.

So now at home, just had a coffee, and not having anything else as I will be watching this evening a three-hour film. Yep, I am definitely seeing Avengers Endgame tonight. I need to make sure I have an empty bladder by then, lol!

Seaford is another lovely seaside town here on the Sussex coast where GC lives,

Here is the main shopping area -

The newsagent is still there and he still sells the loose pipe tobacco which I was happy to know and thus purchased some cherry and vanilla flavoured pipe shag.

A couple of recent book purchases as well -

I arrived in Faversham around midday and went walking around taking some pics along the way. I love to take candid shots of people relaxing and enjoying the day.

As i guessed another bunch of goodies from my brother, books, a watch and a Sony DAB radio player.

I met them down in West Street walking in the opposite direction to the Sun Inn.I am meeting Phil at Wethersppons at two and teh lads will join us there.

Rutland is the smallest county in England, and once got swallowed up by the redrawing of county lines into Leicestershire, much to the annoyance of the locals. But now its county status has been secured, and I for one welcome it. The locals are friendly and welcoming.

It used to have a branch line by rail from Seaton but closed down in 1964 when Beeching did his swingeing cuts. It is also famous for the independent Uppingham School which was founded in 1584.

Another fine old ale house just round the corner from the school.

The small Rutland bookshop along the High Street leading up to the school.

Another good shop to browsw around and I love the door message here -

We left Uppingham just before midday to get to Oakham station for the return journey back to Brighton. The Sunday was just as hot and humid, made worse with the extra items we bought that we had to carry.Arrived at Brighton 4.15 pm.
