Bama Bonkers!
May. 15th, 2019 05:21 amAlabama has gone mad. They have passed a severe anti-abortion law.
These 25 white men – all Republicans – just voted to ban abortion in Alabama

Looks like US of A is going back to more harsher puritanical misogynistic times.

Disaster because, of course.
The wildlife refuge that I did my photo shoot at with the birds of prey, gave me some feathers as a gift at the end of that morning. It was really such a nice additional memory so I brought them home and stuck them, temporarily in a glass container where my paintbrushes are. They sat untouched for a week on top of this high piece of furniture away from Finwë.
Friday, I did my weekly cleaning and decided to move the feathers out of the container and into a decorative vase but still on that piece of furniture. Apparently, the move of them gave off a scent of the birds and Finwë went insane. I tried to keep him away, also because my camera was up there - I didn't think to move my camera at the time - but the minute I turned away from him, he managed to jump up - honestly I didn't know his fat butt was capable of such a feat. I tried to shoo him down and with that, went my camera, lens-first. Lens....destroyed. Camera....safe, thankfully.
A new lens costs a lot (more than camera bodies in fact) so I actually asked for donations via FB, Instagram, LinkedIn and now here. I have only one camera and this was the only lens. I am a photographer.
And this is coming when we were about to replace our washing machine, which we will still do next month because we must. So if anyone here can give a small donation via PayPal, I will leave the link here. If you can not, I understand of course. PAYPAL LINK
If you can, please donate - if you are unable, please signal boost so she can replace the lens. It truly is part of her livelihood and would be very much appreciated! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do, my dears! Always!
Love~

So Far ...
May. 15th, 2019 04:59 pmWell,. what a gloriously warm sunny day it has been for me. Stonking good sunbathing weather near the library which I exactly did for a good few hours, as well as some here in the gardens at the place.
In town, I entered Spoons for a yummy chicken breast, with coleslaw, hot chilli sauce and Mexican rice.
I had a few beers there - well three in fact.
So now at home, just had a coffee, and not having anything else as I will be watching this evening a three-hour film. Yep, I am definitely seeing Avengers Endgame tonight. I need to make sure I have an empty bladder by then, lol!

WOW! Awesome! Best film of the year. A rollercoaster of drama, action and emotions, tinged with awe, delight, and despair. Three hours is a long time for a film but there were no dull moments. Three hours went by very quickly. A perfect end to the series of 22 films.
( Spoiler alert for those not seen the film )
So, the next film to see will be the latest Spidey outing.
